FurFright
October 20, 21, 22, 2006
Windsor Locks, CT
FurFright isn't one of the biggest cons in the world, and that's okay
with us. With around 400 attendees, it's large enough to have a HUGE
fuzzy party, but small enough to meet everyfur, find your friends, and
move freely throughout the con without waiting in lines, fighting
crowds, etc. Our goal has always been to bring our furry friends
together under one roof, pack the schedule with lots of
unique/entertaining programming, and throw the best furry party we can.
Looky looky what we got!
-- A GREAT LOCATION--right in the middle of the Northeast! Just a 2 to
3-hour drive from most of New York/NYC, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and
New England! And for those flying in, it couldn't be cheaper and easier!
The hotel is connected to the airport, so there's no shuttles, buses,
car rentals, walking, or hassle! When you land, you're at FurFright!
-- A BIG BEAUTIFUL HOTEL ALL TO OURSELVES, with a new layout that has
TONS of space and puts 95% of all the events together on a single floor!
-- 2 BALLROOMS! One spacious room for our Dealers' Dungeon, and the
other giant hall for our fursuit games, dances, and other large events.
That means more space, more seating, better lighting, etc
-- NEW IMPROVED REGISTRATION SYSTEM and layout so you can spend less
time in line and more time enjoying the con!
-- WE'RE SUPER FURSUIT FRIENDLY! The Con Chair and many of the Directors
and Staff are fursuiters, and we go out of our way to make sure our
furry brothers and sisters are taken care of with multiple headless
lounges and lots of fursuiting events.
– EVENTS & PROGRAMMING A-PLENTY! Friday Furpocalypse games/party, 2 Game
Rooms, 2 Fursuit Parades, Fursuit Massacre (fursuit games), Fursuit
Friendly Dances, Masquerade/Talent Show, Movie Morgue, Draw Or Die
(artist challenge), Artist Lounge, Charity Auction/Raffle, Attendee
Guest Of Honor, lots of hangout space, TONS of panels, discussion
groups, classes, and MORE! There's always something to do at FurFright!

6) Gaming News
Our Gaming Director, Spotweld, has some excellent events in the works,
but he wants to get some feedback from all you gamer furs! So check out
the gaming room section on the FurFright Bulletin Board
(http://furfright.org/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=5) and vote in the Gaming
Room Poll so we can include your favorite games! What do you want to
see? More Halo? More DDR? More CCGs? Speak up (on the bulletin board or
thru email) and let us know!
Also, if you are interested in volunteering in this year's gaming room,
or would like to loan us some of your own games or equipment, please
drop us an email.

the usual anti-spam corrections).
