Putting a strip of scotch tape around the center of the disc (label side,
obviously) sometimes helps too, particularly with CD ROM games. The CD ROM
games spin at such a high speed that they sometimes lift away from the
laser, taking the disc out of focus. Tape helps weigh down the disc.
