Join with us as we take in the festivities and revel in the events of Pittsburgh’s First Night 2008 Celebrations and howl in the New Year with fireworks and furiends!
 

Held on the coat tails of this fantastic event, now in its eleventh year, “First Night Pittsburgh is a community- and family-oriented, alcohol-free celebration of the arts. Revelers enjoy - and in some cases, join in - the multiple, simultaneous and continuous performances of dance, music, song, mime, story telling, theater, poetry, film, video and multi-media presentations.”

 
A “First Night” Button is your ticket into all the events of the evening.  Buttons are available for $8 at the Box Office at Theater Square and at participating Giant Eagle stores beginning in December.  
They are doing something different this year with the vouchers.  You can call the Theater Square Box Office to reserve your vouchers for the various events by calling 412-456-6666.  Vouchers will be available for pick up on December 31 starting at 4pm and you need to have buttons to pick them up. So, that said here’s our schedule of events which require vouchers so you can call ahead and reserve tickets if you’re joining us: 7pm: Pittsburgh Ballet – Byham Theatre9pm: Johnny Angel & the Halos – Heinz Hall11pm: Gab Bonesso’s Interactive Comedy Show – O’Reilly Theatre We’ll meet at 6th & Ft. Duquesne Blvd, along the river walk, at ~11:45pm to watch the fire works.  After the fire works, those who are 18+ are invited back to the Fox & Unicorn Inn to toast in the New Year with a little bubbly.
