I know what you mean, I was at AC and several people on the street
refered to
furry as a sexual thing.  Another person asked me if wearing a tail
denoted rank,
as if furry was a relegion or something.  The problem is trying to make
the media
see that the stuff on CSI and ER isn't the entire cruix of Furry Fandom,
the CSI
stuff is very small minority.  But of course was with everything the
media focuses
on the "freaks" even when they are a minority.
