Actually, there's no reason for them not to.  Anthrocon is an actual event, and it is becoming extremely well-known.  The group has become a Pittsburgh institution, as strongly identified with the city as the Carnegie Museum or the Pirates or the Steelers.  It's only natural that people would talk about it, and frankly, the fun that was poked at us was very good-natured.  Overall I was rather pleased!
